Labor Management Meetings

Shawn's Labor Management Notes

March 16th, 2026, meeting

Grievances

#2-26 The Company accepted the Union's answer

Labor Management meeting

February's meeting was light. We settled two grievances and there was very little from the company on the Labor Management side. They are looking for orders to pick up through March.

Again, please make sure if you are asked to go to the office, ask if the meeting could lead to discipline. If they say yes, whether you're on probation or not, you ask for Union representation. Per Labor Law, they can't follow through with the meeting until there is Union representation present in the room with you.

There will be no Labor Management meeting in March. We will hear two grievances on March 16th. The next grievance and Labor Management meeting will be held on Thursday April 2nd, 2026.

A Committee Election was just held. Thank you for everyone who participated in the vote. Everyone on the original committee was re-elected with the addition of Bill Redman on first shift assembly.

If you have any questions at any time, please call the Union Hall office and choose me from directory. If I don't answer, leave me a message. I will return your call as soon as I can.
